2014 Consumer Electronics Show
Just as a new year begins, the Las Vegas Convention Center plays host to some of the most prominent names in the technology industry at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). During the show, we are introduced to some of the most anticipated and newest technologies from companies such as Samsung, Panasonic and Sony. The 2014 International CES show should prove to be no different.
What to expect at CES
Each year, this show is the most important and largest show for all consumer electronic companies, from the bigger well-known names to the smaller companies trying to get a start. With over 2,000 companies, including those in legislative advocacy, market research, technology training and education, and industry promotion, the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show features not only computer technologies but innovations in music, cars, and environmental technology. The only unfortunate thing about the show is the fact that it’s private, so unless you have press credentials or work in consumer electronics, the chances of the average consumer being able to see the show are slim but on the other hand, it makes it a more focused and intimate affair where vendors can directly interact and showcase their products to the people most interested in them.
Not just business
While business is business, most shows have showcased some top names in music and TV, allowing you to have a little fun and the fact that the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show International is held in Las Vegas means that you get to have maybe some more fun on the side. Overall, the International CES is a week long show of brilliant lights, music, technology and good times, which gives us some of the newest, upcoming, cutting edge technologies to make our lives easier and more entertaining. So if you’re looking to show off your new technology or to possibly see the new gaming console, flat screen TV’s, or a self-balancing electric motorcycle, the 2014 International CES might be the best place to be.
